At M/s JK Exports, we do not compromise on the quality and believe to serve fewer but better orders. We are located at the foothills of the Himalayas, home to purest of the Basmati and long grain qualities of rice.

Delivering quality since 1960

It all started with the Late. Lala Sabumal Gupta who farmed 5000 acres of family owned land with Basmati in the 1960s in the alluvial plains of the Northern India. The crop was harvested and processed in a small family owned factory. M/s JK Rice Land was formed in 1992 by the 2nd generation brothers of the family, from then on the focus shifted to production and processing. In 1998, the firm started supplying to the Food Corporation of India and subsequently started indirect exports via various agents.

3rd generation taking the business forward

In 2017, 3rd generation entrepreneur Anubhav Gupta moved to Germany and decided to install a direct export base with the mission to connect the end importer/wholesale buyer with the source of quality rice. In the recent years, due to increased demand of supply from the Indian subcontinent, there is a massive challenge to manage quality and realising that, it is Anubhav’s aim to create a trustable network of importers across Europe and provide them with adulteration free quality rice with unmatched specifications.

Anubhav is also involved in venture capital, private equity and real estate development projects across Germany as well but keeps a keen focus on the family business

We believe in giving back to the society. In 2008, the family set up a trust “JK Memorial Trust” to promote education in the area. Currently the family funded trust runs 2 colleges in the region with over 600 students
